We specialize in full home remodels and full-service furnishing projects. Whether you’re taking a home down to the studs, refreshing the layout, or completely furnishing a new space, we handle every detail from concept to completion so you don’t have to lift a finger.
-
We don’t believe in forcing a “signature look” on our clients. Instead, we take the time to understand your personal style, how you live, and what makes you feel at home. Then we create a space that feels tailored, intentional, and uniquely you.
-
Our clients are busy, successful individuals and families who want a beautifully designed home but simply don’t have the time to manage all the decisions, details, and day-to-day project coordination. They trust us to create a space that reflects their lifestyle without the stress of doing it themselves.
-
We specialize in all styles except contemporary—that's just not our lane. Everything else? We're in.
-
All projects begin with a 90-minute consultation at $500.
-
For the right project, yes. Large-scale furnishings and remodels can often be handled remotely if the home is within a region we can manage effectively or if we work with trusted local partners.
-
Our process is designed to be as seamless and hands-off as you want it to be. Here’s a quick overview:
Discovery–We learn about your home, lifestyle, and vision.
Concept Design–Mood boards, floor plans, and the overall direction.
Design Development–Materials, furnishings, custom pieces, and final selections.
Procurement–We handle all purchasing, tracking, and logistics.
Installation — White-glove delivery and a “reveal day” where everything comes together beautifully.
You stay involved at the major decision points–otherwise, we take care of the heavy lifting.
-
Yes! We love these projects–they are our bread and butter.
-
We have a rolodex of preferred contractors that we work with. We'll introduce you to who we think is the best fit for your project. Of course, if you have a referral, we're happy to meet with them as well! It's VERY important that our team and the general contractor align upfront before any construction begins.
-
Of course! We’re happy to incorporate meaningful or special items when they align with the overall design direction. During the design phase, we’ll evaluate which existing pieces will give your space the best result.
-
One round of revisions keeps our process streamlined and keeps the ball moving.
-
We stay in consistent contact through organized check-ins, schedule phone calls and emails. You’ll know what’s happening, when, and why—without ever feeling overwhelmed by the details.
-
San Diego (mainly) and literally anywhere else in the US and beyond. Our entire team is from the East Coast, so we're ready to tackle a beach cottage over there too.

Hourly!

Technical drawings, all finish and furnishing selections, procurement, and installation coordination.
-
Yes, $20,000.
-
50% deposit upfront, remaining 50% collected once we've completed the project hours.
-
All orders go through Whit at Home. We send you an invoice for the items, you pay it, and we pay out all vendors. This keeps things clean and easy. We markup up to 30% on top of trade pricing.
-
No, we do not pass along discounts of any kind. This is a big no-no for us.
-
There are many milestones to hit throughout the project. Minimum is 6 months, up to 3 years depending on the size and scale of your project.
-
This depends on our current workload. Typically, about 6-8 weeks from the time we have our initial phone call.
-
You can be as hands-off as you'd like. With that said, when we need an answer or approval, we need it within 3 days to stay on track.
-
We do not rush design. If that's the case, we probably aren't the right fit. That said, we understand all projects need a timeline and a deadline, and we establish that upfront. The schedule dictates everything. Our minimum time to complete a project is 6 months—it just goes up from there.
-
We work directly with custom, trade-only vendors and some retail partners.
-
No. This is to maintain the design aesthetic and overall vision. Things get complicated when clients start shopping on their own.
-
We notify you immediately and select the next best thing! If it's something you can't live without, we'll continue waiting for the back-ordered item until it arrives.
-
Yes! All items are shipped to our receiving warehouse. When we're ready for installation, we'll schedule 1-2 large delivery days.
-
All items go through a quality control check at our receiving warehouse. If something arrives damaged, we immediately notify the vendor or trade rep to get a replacement. This is the kind of stuff you don't want to be bothered with, so you'll likely never hear about it—but it's a large part of our process.
-
We always suggest moving out prior to any construction. It can be done, but it's not fun! If you do choose to stay, we'll go over guidelines and safety information with you prior to any demo. Most clients live with nearby family/friends or rent a home.

We provide all care instructions and guides to ensure your investment stands the test of time.
